Not all paints are created equal. Trade paints are superior to retail paints in terms of their product formulations (e.g., raw materials and specialist ingredients) and overall performance (e.g., opacity, durability, and colour retention) and are worth paying extra for. Trade paints contain better quality and greater quantities of pigment (e.g., titanium dioxide) and protective ingredients than retail paints. Trade paints are also tested and approved to a higher standard than their retail counterparts.
